Cambridge Industrial Design creates amazing products for our clients and their end users, whilst having a deep understanding of materials and production methods. Our clients are both multi-national corporations and small start-ups and consequently projects are very diverse.
We’re looking for a product designer to join us working within New Product Development for a wide range of market sectors.
It goes without saying that you’ll have great design and storytelling skills but what we are looking for in addition is the ability to identify a problem and solve it effectively.
Natural engineering and problem solving ability is essential.
An industrial/product design graduate with relevant experience in the following
– Experience of Design for Plastic injection moulding
– 3D / 2D Solidworks
– At least one year’s design experience post-graduation
Nice to have
– Metal Fabrication and assembly
– Sandwich degree preferable
– Design of mechanical / electro-mechanical products / mechanisms
– Keyshot, Illustrator and Photoshop
Salary – 20K to 23K depending on experience
