VLX Wash - Philips Varilite
Vari-Lite – a division of Philips Lighting Controls based in Texas – turned to CID for design and engineering support when it decided to launch a revolutionary LED luminaire for the theatrical lighting market. Crucially, CID’s collaboration with the Philips team ensured that the VLX Wash was truly modular and easy to disassemble, allowing for simple swap-out of optical and mechanical components. A smooth working relationship also meant that design and tooling were completed in record time, leading to a successful launch of the product.
