Microgrid and BioPick – BioRobotics (Genomic Solutions Inc)
A Cambridge-based genetics research instrumentation specialist, wanted to reduce costs, cut down on the number of parts required and streamline the assembly process. Working closely with the engineering team responsible for the internal robotics, CID was able to simplify the build, drastically reduce the assembly time and part count. By using common parts across the product range the cost of the case work was substantially reduced.
