ES-Cellerator – Sanger Centre
The Sanger Institute uses large-scale sequencing and analysis of genetic variation to further understanding of gene function. CID provided design and engineering support, assisting in the development of a highly modular robot for handling genetic material. This modular approach enables the rapid introduction of new, custom built equipment by utilising 'off the shelf' common parts.
